Dragon Fire Qigong Forms

Level One

Ba Duan Jin Eight Method Movement Standing- Medical. This form based on what  connects the energy of the 12 meridians (12 earthly branches). I teach this styled form, for developing awareness of the meridians connecting, to the vital body organs energy within the body growing.  Performed as though within a ‘Taji Pole’ system of understanding, forming of Yin and Yang throughout the body stages. Taji Pole is the delivery concept of, from our ‘Spirit Self’ in connection to this ‘Earthly’ realm we are formed to exist as two energy systems. These two systems grow from the construct of within one existence (male-female), two grow the new into being. This the basic awareness delivery of logic in the forming of our universe, our body selves and the purpose of constructing developmental platforms, to reveal our greater ability as life and a living energy formed.

As our Taji Pole connects in; 2 eyes, 2 nostrils, 2 ears, 2 hands and 2 arms, 2 lungs, 2 Kidneys, 2 Testicles or Ovaries, 2 legs, 2 feet, Yin-Yang.

We are one ‘Being’, with connection through ourselves, and within that which is from outside as well. This form, and many others of like, can be noted back to a time in use, by the legendary ‘General Yeuh Fei’ 1100 AD (Sung Dynasty) as you may be aware, there are many differing, but similar forms or styles, some more Martial in intent, but this one is a Medical Qigong.

Four Phases Dynamic DFQ Platform

This is the second stage of level 1 training in 'Dragon Fire' forms of which energy dynamics instigate the theory of connecting elemental formulas, that make up the Style ‘Dragon Fire Qigong'.

Five Elements Spirit Fire Qigong Meditation

This is the perfect introduction to Qigong meditation or Nei Gong. Harmonising the Five Elements: Fire, Earth, Metal, Water and Wood with the corresponding organs of the body, Heart, Spleen, Lungs, Kidney and Liver which is one of the foundations of Chinese Qigong. Using mind intention and positive images, guide the colours and spirit of the five elements into harmony with your internal organs. This I have adapted into DFQ using my ‘Tiger Dragon Eagle theory’ as a practice.

Shibashi translates to ‘eighteen forms’. This Qigong is a newer adaption, developed in 1980 by Tai Chi Ch’uan Master ‘He Weiqi’ and Qigong Master ‘Lin Hou Sheng’ in Shanghai China. In ‘Dragon Fire’ story; I have connected this form to the growing of the ‘Spirit Seed’ into Earthly body (mother host Tiger). Yin energy forming Yang spirit seed (Dragon) into the 'Pre Heaven' of life forming. Mind - Blood fusion energy delivers the construct of modern Qigong, slow movement energy forging. And as these movements connect the (body system construct, through the calmed mind- blood fusion) bringing awareness training and focus into the body (fetus) forming.

Dao Yin Liu He Gong six unity form Qigong is an ancient Chinese health cultivation practice. This form was further developed at the Shanghai Qigong Institute in China. Taught to me by Master ‘Simon Blow’ and further enhanced to suit my style of delivery.  This form I have as the ‘Post Heaven’ Yang, soul breath connection to the universe in my ‘Dragon Fire Qigong’ story developed within a construct. The word ‘Liu He’ refers to the six directions around the person, in which one can make a connection to the macrocosmic energies or Universe.

Level Two

Yi Jin Jing

I adapted this form into my Chi Boxing Qigong style from ‘Master Tang Lai Wei’.

This form is to hone the energy of muscles and tendons into changing from weak to healthier. Yi means ‘to change’s alter’, Jin refers to muscle tendon’, Jing is in this reference to ‘classic’. There are many distinct styles. DFQ is a construct of mine. Yi Jin Jing is a Qigong training theory, which is able to improve your physical body, naturally. These methods are also very effective in maintaining your physical health. In order to reach this goal, the physical body must be stimulated and exercised, and the Qi in the energy body must be regulated.

Eight Tri Grams Ba Gua Nei gong

This form connected to the martial Art of Baguazhang.

Is from a study from ‘Master Par Jean - Jacques Galinier’.

I then adapted it, as I don’t teach 'Chi Boxing Qigong' as a Martial Art.

A Western styled boxing form, one in which you can practice solo.

Or simply just performed within Dragon Fire Qigong, with no connection to Chi Boxing.

I decided to adapt this form into these four healing development forms.

One for seated position called the ‘Seed 8 Tri grams’, another the original ‘Standing Form’.

Then, I adapted one for my spine reconstruction, ‘Embryonic Umbilical 8 Tri Gram’.

I also practice the ‘Solar - Lunar’ circle walk, similar to original, but done in my style ‘Dragon Fire Qigong’.

Xi Sui Jing

Xi means “to wash” or “to clean.” Sui includes Gu Sui, which means “bone marrow,” and Nao Sui, which refers to the brain— including cerebrum, cerebellum, and medulla oblongata. Jing means “classic.” This work is commonly translated “Marrow Cleansing Classic,” but “Brain/Marrow Cleansing Classic” is a more accurate translation. This is my construct for ‘Dragon Fire’ formed from past training knowledge. It delves deep into holding postures to build energy into the marrow and then draws this infused energy up the spine into the brain. Second stage Level Two

Guigen a (medical Qigong - Nei Gong) form developed by ‘Dr Xu Hongtao’ and taught to ‘Master Simon Blow’ whom trained me into this 'Medical healing style Qigong’. Guigen is a term that translates to ‘return to root or source’ Its six section form unites the harmony of the vital body system organs and meridians. In ‘DFQ’ I use this form as a connection to the ‘Five Element’ theory and is my training connect to the ten heavenly branches of Chinese theory-philosophy.

Six Healing Sounds Qigong- Liu Zi Jue

(Ma Li-Tang lineage).

An ancient Qigong practise with history of over two thousand years. With the use of sound, movement and intention, stimulating the twelve organ meridians; harmonising mind, body and spirit. This practice taught to "Qigong Grand Master Jack Lim" whom himself was a student to "Grand Master Ma Li-Tang" in Beijing. Simon Blow; being taught from- Grand Master Jack Lim.‘Master Simon Blow’ then taught me. I had previously formulated intrinsic connection from this type of platform, delved into by researching many other styles and sounds practiced. Finding the intrinsic sense of what these different sounds and structures of voice was, in connection to me! I then formed this concept into my DFQ, Vitality of Soul Breath and Spirit- (Tiger Dragon Eagle) it fulfils many avenues of 'Breath and Sound' work I employ in my complete style. Later parts of this evolved into a form I would call ‘Vital Body Qi Wash’. This form (VBQW) is also in connection to other forms, some learnt from ‘Master Simon Blow’ called ‘Guigen’ (return to source, five elements harmony) I practice and can teach 'Guigen and Six Healing Sounds' as I was taught, yet also practice that which I have forged into the formulation and style of my- Dragon Fire Qigong (DFQ).

Ba Duan Jin (seated method essence) Microcosmic Orbit Qigong

These are from classical Nei gong practices, using mind intention to stimulate the energy centres around the body and open all the meridians or energy vessels (Mai) of the body. The circulation of Qi (Chi) around the Microcosmic (trunk/head- back and front of spine), Heavenly Orbit (whole body arms and legs included) is one of the foundations of Chinese Qigong. Yang energy rising up the back 'Du' Mai, Yin energy descending down the front ‘Ren' Mai Thus, helping balance the energy of the body. My DFQ has three levels of developments  incorporating. Seated Microcosmic; Standing Heavenly Orbit and Five Element.

Dragon Fire- Da Yan Black Swan Qigongs

These being adapted from a classical and historical Qigong cultivation practise originating from the Jin Dynasty about 1700 years ago.

These movements 'originally' representing the flight and movements of Wild Geese; the                  foundation of this ancient Qigong system is the 1st and 2nd 64 movement sets.      Simon Blow is a 29th Generation teacher and an initiated student of ‘Grand Master Chen Chuan Gang’ the 28th linage holder. Having learnt the Ist 64 and 2nd 64 forms from Master Simon Blow Da Yan Qigong Australia: these I then adapted, finding my inner harmony and a balanced flow, that of which better suits my style of Qigong "Dragon Fire".

Establishing and formatting them into a pattern size similar to all my Chi Boxing and Qigong forms, (Da Yan- means big bird- big wings) thus, the formulation of energy platforms are explained through these movements, better suiting my 'Dragon Fire' formulation theories.

These then become 'Dragon Fire' returns to peace and tranquility; as A "Black Swan."

My Dragon Fire: Stand alone forms- intrinsic development and/or Chi Boxing.
